Frequently Asked Questions.
What serviced do you offer?
I offer traditional talk therapy with focus on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFT) therapy techniques. If seeking medication management for symptoms, I can refer you to a psychiatrist who is in network.
Do you offer telehealth?
Yes, I can do telehealth with clients all over the State of Florida. According to the Board , clients must reside in FL and be in the state to participate.
How long do I need to be in therapy?
he length of therapy depends on your specific needs and goals. Some clients work with me for a few months to address a particular concern, while others stay longer to explore deeper patterns and continue their growth. For optimal result, we recommend starting with weekly sessions and then considering reducing frequency once you achieved some level of progress. We'll regularly check in about your progress to ensure therapy is meeting your needs, and you can decide when you feel ready to end or take a break.
How does confidentiality work for my sessions?
Confidentiality is a cornerstone of therapy and something I take very seriously. What we discuss stays between us, with a few exceptions required by law—for example, if there's a risk of harm to yourself or others or in cases of abuse involving a vulnerable person. I'll go over these exceptions in detail during our first session so you feel clear and comfortable..
What is first session like?
The first session is a chance for us to get to know each other. I'll ask about what brought you to therapy, your goals, and a bit about your history. It's also an opportunity for you to ask me questions and get a feel for how I work. We will set some basic goals and go deeper into goals in the second session. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, supported, and hopeful about the journey ahead.
